Thousand Smiles is a premium dental clinic in Earls Court, London — and the parent brand under which Smile Clinic London sits. The clinic combines advanced dental technology, clinically-proven techniques and a highly experienced team with something unusual for premium care: flat, transparent prices.
Identity had to read as luxe and classical — gold, silver and ink on black — while the digital story had to evolve from a bold v1 face-collage site into a warmer, conversion-led v2 with social proof, an Invisalign offer and softer organic shapes. We treat it here as one engagement told across two beats: brand identity, then a web evolution v1 → v2.

03 / The mark
A tooth.A W.A family of clinics.
The monogram reads two ways: a stylised tooth from above, and a script 'W' woven from three ribbons — antique gold, platinum silver and a single highlight white. A thin engraved classical serif sets THOUSAND SMILES beneath, the way a jeweller would. The result feels like a hallmark, not a healthcare logo.
The emblem also acts as the parent in a small family system: Smile Clinic London locks up beneath the Thousand Smiles wordmark with 'a part of Thousand Smiles' — endorsing the sub-brand without crowding it.

04 / Palette
Antique gold,platinum,ink & paper.
Four classical swatches sampled directly from the emblem and applied consistently across both website builds: antique gold for warmth and primary, platinum for the silver strokes and fine rules, ink black for the disc and footers, paper white for the rest. A single deep-navy accent appears as the v2 redesign's primary button colour.

The original.A wall ofreal smiles.
The first build led with the personality the clinic wanted to lead with: a vertical strip-collage of laughing faces across the hero, the emblem and engraved wordmark sitting on a thin gold/black nav, and three direct CTAs — Book Online, Contact Us, Special Offers — stacked beside an oversized THOUSAND SMILES headline.
Beneath, an antique-gold panel announces "Dental Clinic Earls Court, London", treatment cards introduce Invisalign Clear Aligner and Smile Makeover & Aesthetic Dentistry, and a dark footer carries the promise: "Premium Quality, Highly Experienced Dentists … with Flat Prices." The redesign.Warmer.More human.
v2 keeps the gold-on-black equity but breathes: a warm gold/taupe hero with a smiling clinician holding a tooth model; a Google "5 stars, 193 reviews" badge front-and-centre; an Invisalign "Say HI.. to Straighten Teeth" offer card; and soft organic blob shapes carving the layout.
Treatment is tabbed (Cosmetic Dentistry / General Dentistry / Facial Aesthetics) over a row of service cards — Invisalign, Teeth Whitening, Porcelain Veneers, Composite Bonding. A "Welcome to Thousand Smiles Dental Clinic — A Different Kind of Dental Experience" section, a '10+ Years of Experience' badge and the line "Good Life Through Best Dentistry!" close it. 07 / Evolution
v1 → v2.What carried,what got better.
The v2 build wasn't a rebrand — the gold-on-black equity, the emblem and the premium tone all carried through. What changed was the room around them: warmer hero photography, social proof in the first viewport, a single foregrounded offer, and CTAs that lead with the booking, not the brochure.
